Polish Genealogical Society of Texas To Hold Annual Social

The Polish Genealogical Society of Texas will hold their annual social on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Tracy Gee Community Center, 3509 Westcenter Drive, Houston Texas.

Guest Speaker Susan Bulgawicz, Atty, will present a program on Elder Law – What important documents do I need now? Members and guests are invited to share in a delicious meal and fellowship with friends. Meat dishes will be provided by the Society and participants are asked to bring your favorite covered dish, salad, vegetable or dessert to share with others.

James Smock has always held an interest in his Polish ancestors and heritage. He is a native Houstonian with Polish roots in Bremond, Marlin and New Waverly, Texas.

James is a past president of the Polish Genealogical Society of Texas and was the founding webmaster of the PGST website. He also served as the Surname Index Coordinator from 1994 - 2000.
