74th Annual Bazaar Held In Chappell Hill Texas

2011 St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Bazaar In Chappell HillA large crowd of people came to Chappell Hill Texas on Sunday, September 4, 2011 for St. Stanislaus Catholic Church’s 74th annual homecoming bazaar. A delicious catered barbecue dinner from Carl’s Barbecue was served beginning at 11am along with plenty of cold beer and soft drinks. There were Grocery, Ham and Sausage and Cake booths along with bingo for the adults and a Toy Booth and other activities for the kids. The live auction with lots of great items was held at 2pm.

Around 3 o’clock in the afternoon a Polish music jam session was held on the side steps of the church. There were lots of talented musicians and singers at the jam session including Brian, Jakub and Michal Marshall, Sonny Janczak, Dr. Jim and James Mazurkiewiecz, Frank Motley, Robert Herridge, Charlie Brossman and David Stegent.

There was lots of fun in the parish hall starting at 5pm as Daniel Cendalski and the Country Boys and Robert Zientek and the ZenTexas band entertained the crowd at the evening dance with a mix of old Polish and Texas country music. At 9pm, while the bands took a break, St. Stanislaus pastor Fr. Jozef Musiol presided over the raffle drawing which included a total of 24 great prizes.

Below are a few photos of the fun and there is a slideshow of more photos on page 2
