Polski Dzien XXI
The Bremond Chamber of Commerce is making big plans for the 21st Annual Polish Day celebration on Friday and Saturday, June 27 - 28 in downtown Bremond Texas. A number of events are scheduled including the parade, the Polish Day beauty pageant, the Poilsh Pickle Run, the BBQ Cook-Off, a 42-domino tournament, horeshoes, washers, three-on-three basketball and volleyball. Saturday evening events include a Polka Mass and a street dance with music by Cherokee Rose.

Bremond Historical Society Fundraiser
On Sunday July 29, 2007 the Bremond Historical Society will have a fundraiser event at the Coal Mine Restaurant. A fried chicken dinner with side dishes will be served. Also there will be a silent auction.
The society has acquired a downtown building and made considerable progress in renovating the old structure so that it will safely house a historical museum for the community. Just this summer a new concrete floor was poured. Doors and interior work will come next as funds are available.
