Bought this on the strength of Beethoven's Wig 1 and 2. #4 is a worthy follow-on. Once again Richard's quirky humor and clever lyrics make the introduction of classics to my children memorable and enjoyable. Even my 2 year old loves these. My personal favorite is the Moonlight Sonata Bonus track!

I was disappointed in this one because there was nothing in the lyrics to educate about the piece, except its use in TV shows and movies. The other Beethoven's Wig CDs had more relevant information - history about the composer, subject matter of the song, history about the piece, or something about the instruments being played. I prefer that approach because my children learn more than just the tune then, and in an approachable way.

We checked this out from the library and immediately fell in love with it. As adults, my husband and I appreciated listening to our style music vs. the kiddy songs we usually have playing. The lyrics are quite funny and would appeal to all ages. Our daughter is 4 and she really enjoyed it too. We plan to order her a copy for next Christmas. I have only listened to cd #4. I am not sure how it compares with the others.

We have all four. As grandparents, we enjoy them as much as our grandchildern do.
