Save your moneyAugust 21, 2010 Fitz_marie 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This map is a horror. Part of Paris is on one side & it is continued on the back, I still haven't figured out how it all fits together. Save your money. Frommer's has an excellent pull-out map in their book that is much more comprehensive (and smaller for easier carrying).
Handy little mapAugust 16, 2010 Bolivar S.(Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great little map, sturdy and laminated, easy to read and colorful.
It folds up accordion-style to about the size of a folded road map, but thinner. You
can easily open it to one section and leave the rest folded, so it shouldn't be awkward
to walk and look at the map at the same time. It also includes inset maps of France and one
of the Paris Metro system.
Handy and durableAugust 8, 2010 D. Gary Lerude(Nashua, NH United States) A friend recommended this map, as she had used one for a trip to London. So we bought one for London and one for Paris. Both were handy as we toured the two cities. With both street and Metro maps, conveniently sized, light weight, and durable, it was the only map we needed as we navigated the crooked streets of Paris.
Streetwise Maps are the BestJuly 23, 2010 LowRisk(Washington) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've used Streetwise laminated maps in about a dozen foreign cities. They are always handy and durable. Perfect for tourists. Sure beats having to struggle with large fold-out maps.
Indispensible for a trip to ParisJune 7, 2010 K. Sue Kearl Being the tightwad that I am, I initially hoped to get by on a free map of Paris from an info station. Fortunately my brilliant husband insisted that we get a good map. We used this map constantly during our week in Paris, and since it rained most of the time we were there, the waterproof nature of the map was especially handy!
It was also great to see the metro and train lines superimposed over the streets.
